Happy New Years...

Hope all of you are safe and warm in your homes.  Since the Bies's are at the Swanks, hope to hear from you when you arrive home safely, plus when Nathan and Erica get back home safely to Phoenix.

Post what you all did last night, and are doing today.

We are going to cook a big breakfast at the house, play games, hope to sit outside awhile, cool and windy somewhat as of yet.

  1. We had a very fun evening--we fondued, played Apples to Apples and Mad Gab games with everyone.

Then watched 20 minutes of the new years Dick Clark to ring in the new year--we didn't care for the singers at all--does that mean we're getting old?
'All they do is scream the same things over and over' sound familiar?

The next day we did our usual--watch movies and visit--it was great.

We had spagetti supper as our usual and they left Sat. about 7:30 to go home.

Rick and I then relaxed on Sunday after putting the house back in order--then I went shopping at Shopko to kill some time and get out of the house before I went grocery shopping while Rick napped. Oh--Sunday morning actually Rick spent singing Green Acres! Lots of snow to move--he's feeling like a tractor pro! It was nice-he came and cleared the front of our house better and made our parking area by the tree and the drive to it much wider. Then he did the driveway at the rental with it too.
I felt so icky New Years Eve--then NY day felt a bit better--but the ick moved into my voicebox now so I squeek or sound like a foghorn. But I'm slowly getting better--I bulked up on Vitamin c like they say to and it did shorten the duration compared to how long Rick and his mom had it right after Christmas. It was a virus of some sort--not my sinus infection.
